A firework explodes in a glasshouse.
Instead of plants, colorfull tentacles spear within seconds and dissolve immediately into smoke. The cramped spectacle rumbles in the glass and can not be rampant. Not in the vastness of the sky, but isolated in the greenhouse the rocket frenzy is raging.
The power of the image creates itself not in the vast sprawl, but rather in its spatial limitations. The violence of an explosion takes place locked in the stuffy peaceful enclosure of a glass house.

In einem Glashaus explodiert ein Feuerwerk.
Anstelle von Pflanzen sprießen sekundenschnell
bunte Tentakel hervor, die sich sofort wieder in Rauch au-flösen. Nicht in der Weite des Himmels, sondern isoliert im Gewächshaus tobt der Raketenrausch.
Die Gewalt einer Explosion findet eingesperrt in der bieder friedlichen Einfriedung eines Glashauses statt. Die Flachau, seit dem frühen Mittelalter ein Ort der Eisenverhüttung, ver-lor seine diesbezügliche Identität 1866, als die Hochöfen ab-getragen wurden. Die Arbeit FIZZ! WHIZZ! BUM! bringt das lodernde Element zurück in die Flachau, wie in einem Hochofen wird es in einem Glashaus gezähmt.
