SAG BEIM ABSCHIED LEISE SERVUS
Calls invited the population of a small town in Upper Austria, Marchtrenk,
to leap off of their building. These jumps take place under the professional
guidance of the stuntmen of sfx.at. The goal is to turn the window of
a living room or house into a springboard for an undiscovered feeling
of freedom. It becomes a gesture of leaping out of one’s own nest, out
of the confinement and into the wide world, or just into the town of
Marchtrenk. What remains is the experience and the unorthodox manner
of leaving a building.
When it’s time to bid farewell, softly say goodbye (Sag beim Abschied leise Servus):
Georg Ritter and Leonhard Müllner developed a project that facilitates the most direct
and fastest way out of a house: the escape from a safeguarded home.

Die Menschen springen aus den Fenstern ihrer Häuser. Im Einfamilienhausidyll von Marchtrenk
werden die Balken geöffnet und die Gesimse von den Kakteen geräumt. Die Flucht aus dem
kleinen Glück wird durch ein unentdecktes Freiheitsgefühl belohnt. Der springende Körper fällt in einen Stapel aus Pappschachteln. Wie in Film und Fernsehen endet der Flug aus der Höhe in gepresster Luft. Begleitet werden die Sprünge deshalb fachgerecht von den Stuntment von sfx.at.
